Once enrolled with First Trust Capital Credit Repair, one of our consultants will contact you in order to begin the process of restoring your credit and preparing you for a lifetime of excellent credit.  This process begins by reviewing your credit report along with one of our consultants.  Our professionals will teach about how credit works and the things you have done to improve and hurt your credit rating, in the past.  The, we will educate you on how to maximize your credit rating in the future through good credit practices.  This education and training will allow you to maintain a lifetime of excellent credit, once our services have concluded.

Step 4: Identify and ATTACK

As part of the consultation, we will work with you to identify inaccuracies and misinformation on your credit reports.  Then, we will draft letters to dispute inaccuracies and negative items on your behalf. By removing these items from your record, your record will more accurately reflect your credit-worthiness and can oftentimes result in an increase to your credit score.  These letters are designed to communicate your dispute in such a way that the credit bureaus will accept the dispute and conduct an investigation.
While this may sound easy, any person who has attempted to dispute his or her own credit will tell you otherwise. According to federal law, the credit bureaus can ignore your dispute under a variety of conditions. In our experience, a large percentage of dispute letters sent directly from consumers are rejected under one pretext or another.

Step 5: You Receive Updates from the Credit Bureaus

The credit bureaus have up to 30 days to respond. You should begin paying attention to your mail for ANYTHING that has a return address of Equifax, Experian, or Trans Union about 2 weeks after you send FTC-Credit Repair your credit reports. Even if it looks like junk mail, forward it to us. Forward it to us, even if it's a report with no improvements. Simply forward everything.

If you do NOT receive anything from a bureau within 45 days, PLEASE NOTIFY US IMMEDIATELY, by email, preferably. We will need another copy of your most recent report or update, so make a copy of your copy and forward us the best copy.

Step 6: Repeat Steps 4-6 until You Get Your Best Result

How much can a poor credit cost the American Consumer?
Automobile Financing- An auto loan can cost you $3,000 to $13,000 more in interest, if you are buying the automobile with bad credit.

Mortgage - A typical home can cost you $146,000 to $250,000 more, in interest if you are buying the home with bad credit.

Credit Cards - Most prime credit cards are entirely out of reach to consumers with bad credit and the few credit cards that are available to them (known as “sub-prime” cards) typically require high setup fees or recurring monthly fees, offer very low credit lines, require cash deposits and in most cases, do not report your positive credit activity to the credit bureaus.
